Commercial Bank recognizes Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Qualification
The Commercial Bank – Best Bank in Sri Lanka – has recognized Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) [also known as CEH] qualification as a key condition that should be fulfilled by candidates who apply for jobs in the information technology department of the bank.
The bank has recognized C|EH qualification as the most sought after qualification second only to CISSP qualification.
The Commercial Bank published a half-a-page employment vacancies advertisement on July 08, 2012 in the Sunday Times headlined ‘Join the Most Awarded Bank – Careers in Information Technology’ calling for applications for two senior positions.
The two positions are: Post of Information Security Officer and the Post of IT Network Engineer. Both positions have called for C|EH qualification under the applicant’s profiles.
Both applicants’ profiles listed following professional qualifications in the following order: CISSP, C|EH, CCNP, CCNA, RHCE, RHCSA.
C|EH is a global qualification awarded by International Association of Electronic Commerce Consultants, also known as EC-Council in the USA. Those who are seeking this qualification need to follow a five day intensive training program conducted by an EC-Council Accredited trainer. Thereafter, the candidates need to sit for a four hour prometric examination and answer 150 questions.
In Sri Lanka, C|EH training is offered by few institutions. CICRA Education in Colombo is an accredited training center of the EC-Council in Sri Lanka.
